Intermediate professional civil engineering work in the research, design and construction of engineering projects; and related work as required. Minimum Qualifications: EITHER : Permanent status with the City of New Orleans or the Sewerage and Water Board as an Engineer Intern I (formerly Engineer-In-Training I) and eighteen (18) months of experience as an Engineer Intern I. OR : Possession of a certificate from the Louisiana State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors stating that the applicant has been certified and enrolled as an Engineer Intern* and eighteen (18) months of engineering experience following EIT Certification.
