Kind of Work: Highly responsible professional supervisory and technical work in directing and coordinating the City of New Orleans centralized purchasing program; and related work as required. Salary may be negotiable within the posted pay range based on the experience possessed by the applicant. Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university AND five years of responsible professional or administrative experience which included the large scale purchasing of supplies, materials and equipment for a large company or centralized governmental purchasing agency. At least one year of this experience must have been supervisory. Kind of Examination: A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. Closing date: Continuous.
