This vacancy is located in the Morehouse Parish Child Welfare Office in Bastrop, LA. This Child Welfare Supervisor is a crucial role that supports and monitors staff performance, identifies necessary resources, and ensures accountability. The incumbent of this position exercises direct supervision over staff that perform court work, intake functions, and perform short-term care for families and children who are alleged to be abused/neglected. Provide direct line supervision to staff through supervisor conferences, case staffing, unit conferences, on-the-job training, and review of completed work assignments, etc. Determines work assignments, coordinates workflow and duty assignments of employees, monitors work productivity and activity to assure compliance with Agency procedures and policies. Attends appropriate Agency staffings, meetings, and training/conferences in order to carry out the Agency's policies and to enhance skills development.
