At the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), we plan, build, maintain, and protect the transportation systems that connect communities, support commerce, and keep Louisiana moving. Please visit our DOTD Career Center for more information about our agency. This position is located in the Design Section of District 04 and reports to the Surveyor Supervisor. The incumbent serves as the functional supervisor of the District 04 Survey Crew and is responsible for performing land surveying duties using GPS and computer technology. The position requires a current Louisiana Professional Land Surveyor License, knowledge of Louisiana Property Law, participation in required training and continuing education, and the ability to work independently and effectively respond to unforeseen conditions.
