Help Serves as a subject matter expert responsible for sediment transport, fluvial geomorphology, and river mechanics features of assigned projects. Works with Branch and Section Chiefs to ensure modeling, analysis, and input are detailed and accurate for projects. Develops new techniques and monitoring equipment to advance the field of practice and improve the economical collection of water resource data. Resolves problems, provides staff recommendations, and participates in the resolution of technical issues. Utilizes models and historical data in establishing the with and without project conditions related to sediment transport, fluvial geomorphology, and river mechanics. Reviews and approves the technical design basis for critical project documents. Plans and administers sediment transport, fluvial geomorphology, and river mechanics assignments.
