ABOUT THIS JOB This position supervises a crew of personnel and manages assigned work activities in the Oberlin Maintenance Unit (D07 Lake Charles Maintenance) and reports directly to the Parish Highway Maintenance Superintendent. Job duties: Supervises the Mobile Equipment Operators performing maintenance to the highways and bridges. Prepares daily labor and equipment report. Orders materials daily. Guides and instructs assigned personnel to see that Highway Standards are met. Conducts routine administration meetings and training. Works emergencies at night.
