Grambling State University is seeking to fill three Full-time Police Officer 1 positions. These Police Officers will provide a range of law enforcement services to help in protecting students, faculty and staff while on campus premises by conducting patrols, enforcing laws and regulations, investigating crimes, and making arrests. Provides crowd and traffic control at special events; may be required to intervene in situations utilizing force if necessary to make an arrest, to restore order, prevent interference with normal operations or to protect persons or property. Protects lives and property through active foot patrols, enforcing laws and investigating crimes. Provides foot or mobile security patrol and enforces parking regulations. Prepares written reports for record and testifying purposes. Responds to emergencies and renders assistance as required. Other duties as assigned.
