Under general supervision, performs skilled electrical maintenance and repair work in the maintenance of facilities and related equipment and systems for the General Services Department. Work involves electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of all buildings, facilities, street lights managed by the General Services Department. Team leads the performance of work by Electrician Is and Electrician IIs. Reports to the Superintendent. Serves as lead person for Electricians; obtaining job assignments from the Superintendent; assigning and completing jobs; instructing employees; reviewing work; and reporting to the Superintendent on completion of jobs and any issues. Performs building maintenance such as installing new fixtures; replacing bulbs and ballasts; replacing outlets; resetting breakers; checking air conditioning, etc.
