The Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women is seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber/Pipefitter Foreman to lead and supervise plumbing and pipefitting operations across the facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, reliable, and functional infrastructure that supports daily operations. Duties include: Supervising and directing assigned offenders in plumbing and pipefitting tasks; Planning, assigning, and reviewing work related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipelines; Ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and institutional policies; Inspecting facilities, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repair schedules; Maintaining required documentation, including work orders, material usage, and project records; Collaborating with maintenance leadership and other departments to ensure efficient facility operations; Training and developing staff in proper procedures and safe work practices.
